The Maurten 160 mix a carbohydrate-rich sports drink that is unique due to the hydrogel technology. The Hydrogel technology in the sports drink from Maurten ensures that the sports gel is directly converted to hydrogel by the acid in the stomach. This allows the nutrients to be quickly transported through the stomach to the intestines. This ensures a much greater intake of carbohydrates than in normal sports drinks.
